7 Public Transportations on Pasar Rebo U-Turn Grounded

Following up citizens complaint, the rank of East Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department is holding a raid in Pasar Rebo u-turn area, East Jakarta. As a result, as many as 7 public transportation were grounded and tens others ticketed. The raid is also assisted by Army.

Not only public transportation, the raid also targets street vendors who open stall along the sidewalk or the roadside.

"All this time, they seem ignore our personnel. So today we're holding a joint raid," said Head of East Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, Bernard Octavianus Pasaribu , Wednesday (9/23).

There are also public transportation which transport passengers carelessly in the area. Consequently, it makes long congestion.

"Since the raid held, there have been 2 vehicles towed, 1 medium-sized bus, and 2 minivans grounded. There are also more than 30 ticketed. And the raid is still ongoing.
